Volunteers provide our kids with friendship, attention, and big hugs!
From the earliest days of Safe Passage, the organization has relied on the support and energy of people around the globe who are eager to take action and make a lasting difference. We take pride in knowing that as long as there is work to be done, there will be committed, caring people to lend a hand to our children and their families. There are a number of ways you can volunteer with Safe Passage. Some options involve travel to Guatemala, while others can be done without leaving home. We invite you to take a closer look at each:
Become a Volunteer: typically a five-week to year-long position in Guatemala.
Form a Support Team: a week-long experience in Guatemala for eight to 12 people.
Join a Friends Group: a chance to network with other supporters in your state or country for fundraisers, outreach, and community-building.
Support the US Office: assist with various projects at our office in Yarmouth, Maine. Contact (207) 846-1188 or outreach@safepassage.org to learn more.

Find a place to put your passions and skills to much-needed use at Safe Passage.
